In addition to fulfilling our legislative obligations we have taken a number of steps to specifically promote diversity. We know that to retain the best people and thus a diverse workforce we must create work environments that value and utilise the differences within our people. A Diversity Initiatives Action Group chaired by a well known and influential senior executive, Sandra Collins (East End Mine Manager) provides advice on diversity matters to the Executive Team.
Managing for Diversity: a guide for managers and employees has been developed and published.
