"I joined Cement Australia in July last year and immediately I was presented with a comfortable, people orientated and challenging work environment.
The Credit team at Cement Australia has a close-knit structure with a diversity of backgrounds, talent and knowledge. The holding of regular work and social activities in the team is not only beneficial but also enforces the positive nature/attitudes that is a driving force in assisting the achievement of fantastic results. The emphasis on the word “TEAM” is forever evident.
The entire office in Milton is buoyant and friendly and regardless of the department you are associated to, everyone is always helpful and willing to assist.
Cement Australia’s work ethic is exceptional and has presented myself with the opportunity to apply my skills and attributes in the Credit department and to receive regular feedback across the board. There is an eminent aspect that Cement Australia values its employees with pride in the constant offering of challenges and further training to enhance skills, abilities and key attributes to be the leader in the industry.
I look forward to a rewarding long-term career with Cement Australia."

"I joined Cement Australia in January 2007 looking for an organisation striving to create excellence. Prior to joining, I visited Cement Australia’s website and was impressed to see people enjoying their work and the pride that emanated from its employees. From my experience to date there are high levels of pride and the people are fantastic to work with.
The Supply Chain team are a great bunch and are always seeking to improve our service. We have certainly had some challenges arise, but the teams ‘can do’ attitude makes me very confident we will succeed. The variety within my role not only challenges me, but also rewards me. Supply Chain interacts well with both our internal and external customers and we are focussing on excellence in this area.
I was fortunate enough to attend the Leadership conference, which broadened my understanding of where Cement Australia is heading. Also the SHEC Leadership course, for those who are yet to attend, I highly recommend it.
For me personally, this is the challenge I needed and through our safety initiatives, particularly in safety engagement it is full steam ahead.
